We get asked a lot about how many calories people should be eating to maintain/lose/gain weight. We always say the same thing, it's different for everyone. You can be the same age, height and weight as someone and be on the same diet but achieve different results. Why? Everyone's body is different and your lifestyles and exercise routines could be totally different. The best thing you can do is get a rough idea of how many calories you should be eating and track your weight. If your weight goes up, less calories. If your weight stays the same, less calories. Assuming your goal is weight loss of course.

Bellow is a calorie calculator, there are loads all over the internet that will all come out with slightly different answers. This is just a rough guideline for those who do not have a starting point yet. As always we would recommend talking to a PT or nutrition coach and they can talk you through it on a one to one basis because as i said, everyone is different.

Once you have worked out what calories you are trying to hit you then want to work out what macros you should be hitting: Protein, Carbohydrates and Fat.
